They can be recognized by their unique names. They are very rare and most of them have interesting special effects.

But, of course, this is where you will find the most untouched asteroid fields and sectors that might contain things that might prove to be valuable.

If you find a large asteroid and it doesn't already belong to anyone, you can \c(0d0)claim\c() it for yourself by flying close and interacting with it.
